Let's do more than talk about it

Mental Health at Work Matters

Many organisations want to promote open conversations about mental health; but talking alone isn’t enough.

I was reading a post this morning about the urgent need for open conversations in workplaces, especially in the NHS. I agree completely. But conversations alone are not enough in a climate where stress, anxiety and overwhelm are at an all‑time high.

The gap lies in offering tools alongside talking; tools people can take with them and use when things become too much. Breathwork is one of the most effective and accessible tools that can be offered.

Pranayama breathwork practices are backed by growing research showing improvements in stress levels, emotional regulation, sleep, cognitive function and overall wellbeing. These practices strengthen the mind–body connection and give people a way to process what they’re experiencing in real time.

My work supports organisations that want to combine talking with tools during the working day. Even short, structured breathwork sessions during breaks can make a measurable difference. The techniques I teach can be used at home and throughout the workday when things become too much.

I’m now offering free consultations and a 15‑minute sample breathwork class for organisations exploring corporate wellness support.
